Dial-Around Compensation Services
ICORE has worked diligently on behalf of our payphone clients since the FCC initiated its dial-around rules in 1997. While these rules, procedures and per call rates - recently raised to $0.494 per '800' and access code call - have changed several times, ICORE has constantly worked to get its clients the proper level of compensation for the IXCs.
At present, a number of clearinghouses perform payphone administration services for these IXCs. These services include collection of the filed quarterly reports on behalf of the PSPs (Payphone Service Providers), match-up of call records to process dial-around compensation payments, and disbursements of payments. Major clearinghouses include the National Payphone Clearinghouse (NPC), Billing Concepts, and Atlantax. AT&T and MCI have currently contracted their work to the NPC while Sprint, the other "big three" IXC, has contracted its work to Billing Concepts.
ICORE interfaces with these clearinghouses in order to assure that all of the FCC's requirements, including all necessary reports, are being met. In this way, we relieve our payphone clients of their FCC prescribed administrative burdens, and ensure that they receive all appropriate dial-around compensation.

Payphone Operator Service Commissions
For 0+ payphone calls, i.e. collect, credit card, and billed to third number excluding '800' and dial-around calls, each LEC should have a commission agreement in place with an IXC.
ICORE has contracted with several IXCs to provide operator services for payphones. Among these Carriers are Qwest and ILD. ICORE currently provides this as a FREE SERVICE to payphone owners and provides highly favorable terms, conditions and commission rates (up to 30%). The process to enroll is very easy. A simple phone call to us could result in an increased deregulated revenue source.
