CABS SERVICES
ICORE has for several years performed CABS and settlements reviews, supported and enhanced our OPTICABS™ software, developed and filed access tariffs, and interfaced directly with NECA and the IXCs on any number of access issues.
With this background, we are eminently qualified to provide CABS billing on a Service Bureau basis. We have been doing this for many years on behalf of multiple clients that have asked us to perform this service.
We have come to realize that we can provide CABS billing services more efficiently, more accurately and generally more economically than the traditional Industry Service Bureaus. The proper treatment of every minute, every element, and every rate is essential to each small company's access revenue tariff.

In addition, ICORE continues to support our OPTICABS™ system, for companies wishing to perform their CABS functions in-house.
OPTICABS™ has been designed to produce CABS bills efficiently, with an absolute minimum of input effort, while avoiding as many input errors as possible. We have recently upgraded our software to comply with the standard SECABS Version 9.0 guidelines. This has proven highly efficient for our newly integrated feature, electronic billing. Our system allows the user to set up tables in ways that make data input intuitively obvious. OPTICABS™ accepts mechanized file transfers and/or manually input summaries of AMA call data, produces the bills, and prints reports for input to NECA and state pools, as required for settlement.
With the telephone industry facing continual changes, frequent revision in both interstate and intrastate access billing arrangements will occur. ICORE continually upgrades our software to accommodate industry changes and constantly works on applying enhancements to improve our already user-friendly software. OPTICABS™ is one of the most flexible CABS software programs on the market today.
